University of Leeds, Astrophysics: I'm Jeff Grube, PhD student in
high energy astrophysics. I have submitted my PhD thesis in June 2007.
In addition to research, I taught and demonstrated laboratories and tutorials
for the School of
Physics and Astronomy.
VERITAS: I'm a member of the VERITAS Collaboration. I have primarily
worked on temporal and spectral analysis of gamma-ray observations of
TeV blazars with the Whipple 10 m telescope. To the right is a photo of me
with the 2nd of 4 telescopes comprising VERITAS.
-
RXTE: I study the correlated X-ray and gamma-ray flaring nature of
TeV blazars by analysing joint observations with the NASA X-ray satellite
RXTE and the Whipple 10 m gamma-ray telescope.
-
XMM-Newton:
I also study detailed X-ray spectral variability of
TeV blazars with the ESA X-ray satellite
XMM-Newton.
